Symmetry Corporation Announces Continued Expansion With Third Building on Milwaukee’s East Side; Projects Doubling Employee-Base by End-of-Year
Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) July 09, 2013 -- Building on success as a global IT leader, Milwaukee-based Symmetry Corporation, today announced continued expansion with the unveiling of the company’s third building to support the growth of the company’s workforce, which is projected to double by the end of 2013.
The SAP-certified provider of hosting and cloud services for SAP® partner solutions, a value-added reseller and leader in technical managed services for customers, will unveil its newest office facility at a special ribbon-cutting event and employee appreciation reception on Tuesday, July 30 at 10 a.m. Company President, Dan Wilhelms, and company leadership will utilize the new facility at 1443 N. Prospect Avenue as a part of its Center of Expertise, a world-class training and service center that supports customers throughout the globe.
The company’s new Center of Expertise expansion goes beyond the brick and mortar office addition and is expected to translate into new jobs for Milwaukee professionals within the IT space over the coming years. After three consecutive years of substantial growth, Symmetry is projected to double its staff from 54 employees to 100 employees by the end of 2013. Today, the company employs 85 professionals within its three Milwaukee locations and various remote locations nationwide.
The new office is the third of two existing historic building locations – the 19th century Judge Jason Downer house on the lower east side and the notable Adler Building on the east side. This new facility was built in 1968 and features 7,638 square feet of office space and employee parking.
“As a local entrepreneur, there’s a goal to not just create a great culture for your employees, but also to enhance the surrounding community,” says Dan Wilhelms, President of Symmetry Corporation. “In a sense, I believe the two go-hand-in-hand. I take a lot of pride in collaborating in valuable Milwaukee initiatives, such as the UWM Lubar School of Business La Macchia Program, which helps develop young talent soon entering the workforce. Through these efforts and in contingency with our expansion, Symmetry continues to be acknowledged by area and national publications as a top workplace and successfully rising company, including Inc. 5000, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Business Journal and SBCA Community recognition. We hope this new office site will open the doors to much more development and philanthropic community opportunities.”
