Author Kylie Rae Relates Her Experience Becoming a Transgender Woman in Her New Book, 'It's Not Who I Am'
Adelaide, Austrailia (PRWEB) July 09, 2013 -- Born as a man and living an artificial existence, Kylie had no choice but to go through a total transformation. She had to become a woman to truly be happy.
It’s Not Who I Am is the inspiring true story of author Kylie Rae’s heroic journey of having a complete sex change in order to live the way she always intended. She underwent multiple procedures in order to finally feel at peace with herself.
The author hopes that by openly and honestly sharing her story, she can show others what it’s like being transgender, particularly to those who may not understand what that’s like. She initially wrote the book as a form of self-therapy after spending so many years suppressed.
“From a young age, I did not feel normal,” said the author. “Too many years passed before I decided to stop living as a man and to finally live the way I wanted to. This is the story of me and my experience.”
