Dr. Marjorie Dixon Launches the IVF4U Fertility Application for the iPhone
Toronto, Canada (PRWEB) July 10, 2013 -- Today, Dr. Marjorie Dixon, one of Toronto’s leading reproductive specialists has launched her own iPhone application. This app provides important fertility resources on such topics as optimizing fertility, the causes of infertility and medical procedures such as in-vitro fertilization.
This app also contains a free built-in tracker to help her patients keep track of essential information related to their fertility treatments in an easy to use, secure way.
“My goal was to create a free fertility learning and personal tracking mobile app to educate people on the underlying causes of infertility and to provide understanding that there are a wide variety of treatments available that can help them realize their goal of starting a family,” said Dr. Marjorie Dixon. “I consider my job as a fertility specialist to be the best job in the world, and I felt it was critical to provide important resources on the devices they use most.”
The mobile application was developed by Purple Forge (http://www.purpleforge.com), the leading provider of mobile applications for associations, municipalities and governments in Canada. The application was developed using a state-of-the-art mobile application content management system that will allow the applications to be updated on-the-fly by Dr. Marjorie Dixon’s staff to present the latest content and information as it becomes available for patients seeking fertility treatments.
“It was important to build the application with the ability to update information on-the-go so that Dr. Dixon could respond to patients interests in the latest treatments,” said John Craig, the VP of Sales and Marketing for Purple Forge. “In launching this mobile application, Dr. Dixon has clearly showcased both her continuing leadership and creativity in sharing her fertility insights with all Canadians.”
