We choose to partner with Draker for our utility-scale and commercial projects across the United States because of their systems’ reliability. - Andrew B. Goldin, VP of EPC Operations at Cenergy Power

Austin, TX (PRWEB) July 09, 2013

Draker announced today that its’ California ISO (CAISO) certified Remote Intelligent Gateway (RIG) and weather station have been installed in a multi-megawatt solar PV site in partnership with Cenergy Power.

“We choose to partner with Draker for our utility-scale and commercial projects across the United States because of their systems’ reliability and seamless handshake with interconnection telemetry,” said Andrew B. Goldin, VP of EPC Operations at Cenergy Power. “We have especially been pleased with Draker’s responsiveness and flexibility to work around the various CAISO requirements for meteorological data accuracy, data processing, data communications and network security.”

Launched in 2012, Draker’s CAISO-certified monitoring hardware and weather station can be deployed at a solar PV site as an integrated part of a total PV performance management solution, eliminating the need for and expense of a separate hardware and software system to meet Eligible Intermittent Resource Protocol (EIRP) requirements. Draker is also on the CAISO list of Third Party Engineering firms and is fully qualified to provide PV monitoring design and integration services required to bring its’ RIG online and comply with California ISO EIRP requirements.

“Draker is proud to be the only provider to deliver a truly integrated monitoring and SCADA solution that meets CAISO EIRP requirements,” said Draker CEO Chach Curtis. “This turnkey offering reflects our continued product development effort to support the complex control and networking requirements of the maturing solar market. When coupled with our engineering services and performance management software, we have been able to help our customers reduce balance of plant procurement and installation costs.”
