InnerCity FiberNet Hires New General Manager
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) July 10, 2013 -- InnerCity FiberNet (ICFN), a Dallas-based Competitive Access Provider (CAP), today announced that seasoned telecom executive Chris Degelia has joined the company as General Manager. In this position, Degelia is responsible for the overall creation and implementation of strategies to extend the InnerCity FiberNet service area. He serves as a senior leader and will closely align with other staff and board members to assist in accelerating the company’s growth while expanding its offerings and fiber footprint.
“Chris has tremendous industry experience and we’re excited to have him on board,” said Jason Pope, Vice President of Operations. “His expertise and reputation are enormous assets for the company, even more so as we continue to grow.”
With more than 17 years in telecommunications, Degelia’s experience as a customer-centric, tenacious business development professional resulted in several large-scale custom metropolitan and regional network expansions across Texas and Colorado. These provided diversity, redundancy and high bandwidth availability to enterprise businesses, data centers, carriers and aggregation access points.
“I look forward to the opportunity to market and position InnerCity FiberNet's dark fiber and lit service offerings in our target markets in Dallas and Phoenix. As bandwidth demands continue to increase, ICFN is well positioned to provide enterprise and carriers custom connectivity solutions to manage current and future bandwidth needs,” said Degelia.
As a locally owned and managed metropolitan fiber optic network, ICFN continues to acquire and construct additional network into key locations in both the Dallas and Phoenix markets to meet its customers’ needs.
