Foundation Financial Group Concludes Stay Strong Sosa Initiative
Raleigh, North Carolina (PRWEB) July 17, 2013 -- Foundation Financial Group has concluded its regional philanthropic initiative, Stay Strong Sosa, which benefitted an employee from the corporation’s Raleigh Regional Sales Center, located at 701 Exposition Place #202. The Stay Strong Sosa campaign was comprised of employee donations and a significant corporate contribution.
After FFG learned its affiliate, Foundation Insurance Services, had an agent in distress, the corporation wanted to help. Insurance Agent Anthony Sosa suffered a stroke at his house. Sosa had just begun working for the corporation and had not yet qualified for FFG’s employee benefits to cover his expenses. Foundation Financial employees established the Stay Strong Sosa Fund to help alleviate the burden brought on by the cost of medical care.
“I was completely overwhelmed; I couldn’t believe that my coworkers had thought enough of me and my family to be so generous,” said Sosa, who recently enjoyed his first week back at FFG. “From the very bottom of my heart, I say thank you to FFG! They will never know how much their gift of support means to my family. My wife and I are truly grateful for everyone’s generosity. This fund has allowed me to concentrate on getting better and not worry as much about finances, like how I’m going to pay this month’s rent after loss of income from being out of work. I feel like I am part of a family instead of just another employee. I want everyone to know I don’t take for granted what they’ve done. If ever I’m in the position to return the favor, they can count on me!”
Having worked less than a month at Foundation Insurance Services, Sosa could not believe the outpour of support, assistance, and well wishes that came from his coworkers. While Sosa has a long road to recovery ahead of him, he has returned to work and is eager to get back into the normal swing of things. Sosa’s work at Foundation Financial Group provides him with an opportunity to truly make a difference in his customers’ lives; it makes him feel good to be a part of improving the quality of life for others.
