Quadrant2Design sign agreement in July 2013, to bring a unique custom built exhibition stand solution, to the UK exhibit design & build scene.
Poole, Dorset (PRWEB UK) 13 July 2013 -- "So what's so special about you guys then?"
During the financial crisis, that was the attitude of many of Quadrant2Design's prospective clients, explains Sales Director Andrew Carney.
Andrew laments, "What could I say? Our modular exhibition solutions were essentially the same as everyone else’s. I knew our quality was better, our people more committed and our project management was superior, but these were difficult concepts to get across to a naturally sceptical audience."
"That led us," explains Andrew, "To search for a unique solution, something the competition didn't have, or couldn't copy. And that search has led to this important development in our companys progress."
"The signing of this agreement in July 2013," says Andrew, "Makes us the exclusive supplier of this 'very different' exhibition stand solution, the Prestige System. Now we have something very new and exciting to talk about!"
Interested people can see examples of custom built exhibition stands, designed and built with the solution, on the new Prestige System Website.
Quadrant2Design problem was borne out of success; during the prosperous years leading up to the financial crisis, the company had done well from designing and building stands made from a number of well-known modular exhibition systems, such as Alfa Displays Linx System, the Foga System, Octanorm and the Unibox System.
The solutions mentioned above are good quality, reliable modular exhibition systems. The problem for Quadrant2Design, was that many, many other suppliers also designed with these systems.
Andrew explains the problem; "We were finding that some potential customers were taking our designs and hawking them around the industry to find the lowest bidder. Of course this was unethical but we had no real defence against the practice."
Luckily Quadrant2Design had the answer right under their noses!
Since 2003 the company had been 'non-exclusive' suppliers in the United Kingdom of the Swiss Prestige modular exhibition system. "Because of supply problems during the recession, the solution had taken a 'back-seat' in our plans, but with these issues resolved we're now able to fully capitalise on the solutions unique benefits," explains Andrew.
So Quadrant2Design have taken the bold decision to dispense with their Alfa Display Linx System and their Foga System, in order to concentrate on their unique asset: the Prestige System.
This decision has led to the signing in July 2013 of the agreement with Expo Portable Display AG. granting Quadrant2Design, UK exclusivity to supply, design and build custom exhibition stands with their Prestige System.
So to repeat the question ... what's so special about you guys then?
"Well now, since the signing of this new agreement, we have some compelling answers!" says Andrew "Prestige is a unique proposition; a stand system with the look and feel of a custom built exhibition stand, but with all the flexibility and cost advantages of a modular solution."
Design-wise, the Prestige System features ‘seamless-effect’ panoramic graphics. This is quite different from other modular exhibition stands, where ugly aluminium upright poles interrupt the graphics, disturbing the overall effect and visual communication.
Andrew comments, “Prestige is a visually a fantastic exhibition stand solution, and when you combine giant lifestyle graphics with product showcases and large digital screens, the overall effect is amazing.”
Unlike custom build exhibition stands, Prestige is extremely easy to reconfigure for different stand space. And when you also take into account the light weight, ease of transport and self-build capability, it’s easy to see why clients are deserting custom built exhibition solutions and favouring Prestige.
