National Society of Leadership and Success to Present at Colorado Community Colleges’ Student Life Development Council Summer 2013 Retreat
Dillon, Colorado (PRWEB) July 09, 2013 -- The National Society of Leadership and Success announces its participation in the Colorado Community Colleges’ Student Life Development Council (SLDC) Summer Retreat on July 11 and 12, 2013. The retreat will be held in Dillon Colorado at the Comfort Inn & Suites Hotel. Marissa Curry, Regional Director of Program Development at the Society, will present with Jason Wright, the primary Society advisor at Front Range Community College. Their presentation will be from 2:15 to 2:45 p.m. MT on Thursday, July 11.
“We’re thrilled to be presenting on behalf of the Society and for the chance to connect with so many dedicated administrators across the state. Representatives from all of the community colleges in Colorado will be present, so this is a great opportunity to illustrate what the Society has to offer to both students and Academic Advisors,” said Curry.
Student Life Professionals consist of members from the 13 recognized community colleges within the Colorado Community College System (CCCS). Their mission is to come together as a unified group, use their collective resources, and advocate and educate about student issues, student development and student success. The SLDC group meets annually in July to work on goals and the State Student Advisory Council (SSAC) conference planning for the following October each year.
