The Jai Institute for Parenting Milestone Reached- More Than 50 Parenting Coaches Trained Worldwide
Los Angles, California (PRWEB) July 24, 2013 -- The Jai Institute for Parenting has reached an important milestone having trained over 50 parenting coaches on 5 (five) continents. Their newest coaches include pediatricians, licensed therapists, teachers and program facilitators for parent-training programs with municipalities/government organizations. They are positioned to train an additional 100 coaches in the next year alone.
This revolutionary organization is arming parents with the tools they need to effectively parent without the use of traditional disciplinary tactics. “We know empirically, through evidence-based research, that punishments, and shaming and blaming children leads to lower self-esteem and self-worth in children and permissive parenting breeds entitlement. Our work is about finding a balance, so that we can have well-behaved, self-reliant kids and that we feel at our best as parents,” says Jolette Jai, co-founder of The Jai Institute.
Coaches go on to work with families in their own businesses to create more effective communication, set limits based on shared values and bring the joy back to parenting. “We love this model, because we are empowering women to create their own businesses doing meaningful work in the world and we believe that empowered moms raise empowered kids.”
The Jai Institute for Parenting was created by two visionary parents and business women, Jolette Jai and Kiva Leatherman. Jolette knew that peaceful communication and attachment parenting were a great beginning to a positive parenting experience yet felt there was more that could be done to honor the humanity and needs of both parent and child without blame, shame, guilt and punishment. Kiva began as a financial wiz that soon devoted herself to helping women achieve their goals in self and business development. She promptly became a sought after business development guru. They joined forces and have created the first institute devoted to parenting and families in this manner. Their philosophy, first embraced by parents from all walks of life have now added coaches from the fields of education, medicine, social work and government programming to their professional ranks. Ushering in a new paradigm for familial connection and interaction is the cornerstone for The Jai Institute for Parenting. For more information visit http://www.jaiinstituteforparenting.com.
