The Clever Travel Companion Supports a Community for Nomad Families and Digital Nomads
(PRWEB) July 11, 2013 -- There are thousands of families traveling the world for an extended time at this very moment. Many of these families bring their work with them, traveling without an end date in sight, building and growing businesses and families on the road. Some families have been traveling for many years, starting out as individual travelers, marrying and giving birth to children “on the road” - these are the modern nomads and Nomad Families are for them and the Clever Travel Companion is happy to support the new community.
From Nomad Families (http://www.nomadfamilies.com):
We knew there were a lot of traveling, like-minded families; we just didn’t know where to meet them all. Of course many families have great blogs, that are a joy to follow, but being on the road, there is not always time to sit down and read blogs for an extended time (after all there is so much to see and do!). We wanted to be able to talk to all these nomadic families, learn from their experiences, ask questions and in turn answer questions from other travelers. We wanted to be able to have ongoing conversations about travel: family, education, where to stay, how to travel, what to do, and even to make friends both online and eventually in real life somewhere in the world where our travels take us.
Nomad Families is a forum for traveling families: it is a place to discuss anything and everything related to extended travel, to benefit from those who have already done that, and been there. We wanted to discuss everything from homeschooling, travel health and safety, best hotels or long term rentals, to food, sports, airplane miles, working on the road, ‘the digital nomad’ lifestyle to how your travels are perceived by family and friends.
Nomad Families is also a blog showcase where every family travel blogger is welcome to post in the open to all communal blog, link back to their blog, and in that way give Nomad Families’ members a taste of and a chance to discover new blogs.
