Eagles to Improve in 2013: 2013 Eagles Tickets are Available Now at www.Eagles-Tickets.org, Powered by InsideTrackTickets.com
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) July 13, 2013 -- The Philadelphia Eagles haven’t had the best record in the past two seasons, but that may all change in 2013. Following a disappointing .500 finish in 2011 with 8 wins, the team fell to 4-12 in 2012. However, looking back on 2012, the Eagles had beaten eventual Super Bowl champs, the Baltimore Ravens, as well as the year before champs, the New York Giants. Unfortunately, 4 wins in a season does not go over well with any team, and head coach Andy Reid was let go. That is when former University of Oregon head coach Chip Kelly was hired to bring the team out of its funk. Now, Kelly looks to give the team their first NFL title since 1960. The following is a look at some players to keep an eye on in 2013:
Michael Vick: In the 2010 season, quarterback Vick threw 21 TD passes and had only 9 turnovers. If he stays healthy and gets back to where he was in 2010, Vick will have a huge impact on the team’s success.
LeSean McCoy: In 2011 the running back led the NFL with 20 touchdowns, but because of injuries only played in 12 games in 2012. He is back and healthy in this offseason and will be ready to make strides in 2013. Watch as the league’s most versatile running backs helps the Eagles win this year.
Jeremy Maclin: The four year pro bowler has led the Eagles in receptions in the last two seasons. In 2012 he had 69 catches for 857 yards. He is without a doubt the team’s most reliable receiver. Make sure to catch an Eagles game to watch Maclin lead his team to victory in 2013.
Fletcher Cox: With the Eagles new defensive system, Cox will move to right defensive end in the upcoming season. Cox was a first round pick in 2012 and can play anywhere he is placed. His athleticism and versatility will help the Eagles improve in this next season.
