Andrews Osborne Academy, a coeducational, college preparatory day and boarding school, is pleased to announce the newly formed Office of Institutional Advancement.

Andrews Osborne Academy(AOA), a coeducational, college preparatory day and boarding school, is pleased to announce the newly formed Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA). The OIA combines the Marketing and Development Departments to concentrate our efforts in raising awareness of our school and its mission. The OIA will partner with our alumni, parents, friends, foundations and corporate partners to further academic programs, athletics and capital projects as Andrews Osborne Academy continues its growth and advances its standards of excellence.

Dawn Gubanc-Anderson joins Andrews Osborne Academy as the Senior Director of the Office of Institutional Advancement. Dawn will provide oversight to all marketing, development, communications and community outreach activities. Dawn’s career includes more than 25 years of experience in business operations, business development and administration in domestic and international markets. She most recently served as the Vice President at the Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science from Marquette University and her Master of Science degree from Duke University.

Vicki LeVan, formerly of AOA’s Department of Admissions, has assumed the role of Director of Marketing. Vicki brings with her over 7 years of marketing experience with Avery Dennison. In this critical position, Ms. LeVan will focus on promoting the school through advertising campaigns and community outreach. The OIA’s goal is to be an integral part of our local philanthropic and business community.

Scott McNevan comes to AOA from Grand River Academy, where he served as the Athletic Director and an Administrator for the past 12 years. In his new role as Associate Director of the Office of Institutional Advancement, Scott will be focusing on development and alumni relations.

Ellen Beers has been a vital part of the AOA Marketing Department for the past 5 years and will be continuing in her role as Marketing Associate. Ellen has been a part of AOA for the past 12 years and has held the positions of Registrar, Student Affairs Coordinator, and a Dormitory Residential Assistant. Ms. Beers’ role will focus on website management, social media and event planning.

Judy Steiger has been heavily involved with fundraising and project management for over 15 years. She has been the Development Associate at AOA for the past year and has held the role of chairperson for our annual fundraiser, which last year brought in over $80,000 for our school’s operating budget.

Katie Sega recently joined AOA as an additional Development Associate. Katie is a Kent State University graduate with a degree in advertising. Katie spent the past 7 years as the Database and Research Coordinator at Lake Catholic High School. Ms. Sega will be focusing on prospecting and alumni database management.

Andrews Osborne Academy (AOA) is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory day (grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12th) and boarding (grades 7-12) school near Cleveland, on a beautiful 300 acre campus located in Willoughby, Ohio.
