GSMI’s Mobile Marketing Strategies Summit Announces New Speakers from Google, Groupon, and ESPN
Boston, MA (PRWEB) July 11, 2013 -- Global Strategic Management Institute (GSMI) is pleased to announce that the 6th installment of the Mobile Marketing Strategies Summit (MMSS) will feature speakers from Google, Groupon, and ESPN. The event will be held in Boston, MA on October 2-3, 2013. GSMI has fantastic expectations for the event. CEO Byron Mignanelli explains:
“Organizations are aggressively investing in mobile marketing. Our Summit is here to assist in providing a standard blue print for attendees to learn from best-in-class organizations who are successfully winning the mobile race.”
Rob Derderian, Google’s Senior Account Executive for Co-op Marketing Solutions, will be discussing the Mobile Path to Purchase: Use of Mobile Across Purchase Channels. At Google, Rob is responsible for helping brands develop retail and shopper marketing strategies to drive consumer action at retail. He is an 8-year Google veteran who has worked in the New York, Boston, London and Chicago offices, and has managed Google activity for top retailers and brands in that time.
Also joining the summit this October is Groupon’s Director of Product Management, Breadcrumb Payments, Sean Harper. Sean will be presenting a case study session on Groupon’s mobile payments strategy. Sean joined Groupon in 2012 when Groupon acquired FeeFighters, a company that he co-founded in 2010. The technology that Sean and his team developed at FeeFighters became the basis for Breadcrumb Payments, which launched nationally in September 2012.
Lastly, the newest addition to this year’s lineup is Jonathan Gorski, Manager, Digital Media Research & Analytics at ESPN. Jonathan will be sharing how ESPN’s properties perform and maintain engagement during football season, which is reasonably their busiest mobile time of the year. In his position at ESPN, Jonathan and the Digital Research team are responsible for understanding and reporting on fan behavior for all of ESPN’s digital platforms. He has focused on how mobile devices are used as well as the integral role they play in people’s lives.
