Worcester, MA (PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- Kick off your holiday season this year with the return of Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra at The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts in Worcester, MA. The performance is made possible through a sponsorship by The Hanover Insurance Group Foundation, Inc. and will take place on Friday, December 6 at 8pm. Tickets are on sale now to members of The Hanover Theatre before going on sale to the public on Friday, July 26 at 10am.
Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and Conductor Keith Lockhart return with their sparkling and beloved Holiday Pops concert. Capturing the magic of the Christmas season and the winter charms of New England, the Boston Pops will perform their signature “Sleigh Ride,” as well as other Holiday classics, and new arrangements of seasonal favorites. The magnificence of hearing these pieces performed by America’s Orchestra is not to be missed! Santa Claus will make a guest appearance during the concert’s finale followed by the traditional Boston Pops Holiday Sing-a-long to bring this special performance to a close.
Celebrating its 128th anniversary, the Boston Pops have presented a wide variety of music, collaborating with some of the world’s most respected artists of our time. During the past 18 years, Lockhart has led the Pops on numerous national tours, including performances at Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall, 67 televisions shows and four self-produced recordings. Today “America’s Orchestra” continues to bring holiday magic and world-class performances to audiences throughout New England.
