Keynote Speaker at Nova Southeastern University to Address Stress Management

The topic of Dr. Wandler's talk will be stress management. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, at 6:00 p.m., and will take place at NSU's Orlando Student Educational Center.
The Orlando Student Educational Center of NSU has served as a convenient venue for both community meetings and educational seminars. NSU is a research university that specializes in flexible learning formats for working adults, as well as offering many continuing education programs to the community. Dr. Kevin Wandler is currently the Chief Medical Officer at the Recovery Village, near Orlando. Dr. Wandler has devoted his 30-year career to the prevention and treatment of addiction and eating disorders with a focus on co-occurring disorders. Renowned for his groundbreaking research, he is frequently sought after as a keynote speaker and instructor for both national and international audiences.
His professional affiliations include American Eating Disorder (AED), International Academy of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), American Psychiatric Association (APA), American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), Florida Society of Addiction Medication (FSAM), and Christian Medical & Dental Association.
Prior to joining the Recovery Village, Dr. Wandler founded the UF&Shands Eating Disorder Recovery Center (EDRC) at the University of Florida. Previously, he spent 18 years as the chief medical officer at Remuda Ranch Programs for Eating and Anxiety Disorders. He is happy to be part of the Recovery Village staff, where he uses his skills as an addiction psychiatrist to help individuals recover from addiction and mental health disorders.
