Axiom EPM Enhances Profitability Solution, Providing Greater Visibility and Communication
Portland, Ore. (PRWEB) July 15, 2013 -- Axiom EPM, a leading provider of financial planning and performance management software for enterprises, has enhanced its Profitability performance management solution, which now features improved analytics and dashboards to help support financial institutions’ decision making, as well as cross-organization visibility and communication.
Axiom EPM’s enhanced Profitability solution provides financial institutions with greater visibility into their customers, products, and organizational units, exposing which segments drive the most significant value to help decision makers take corrective action. Determining the sources of profitability is a growing concern for financial institutions. With compressed margins and increasing competition, it is imperative for financial institutions to understand how customers, branches, channels, officers and products contribute to the bottom line. It is also beneficial to provide the appropriate information to the front-line staff at the branches and lending centers so they can assess the effect on profitability of potential offerings at the customer level.
“The enhancement of Axiom EPM’s financial solutions will further support banks and credit unions’ ability to navigate today’s dynamic landscape and drive more profitable growth, which is an ongoing challenge within the financial services industry,” said Ken Levey, vice president of Financial Institutions for Axiom EPM. “Our team of financial experts is committed to providing industry-specific solutions that are designed to meet financial institutions’ complex performance management needs, all within a single, comprehensive platform.”
To help support Axiom EPM drive these solutions to market, the company also made additions to its financial services leadership team, announcing Tom McCarthy as a senior solution engineer and Paul Panther as a senior consultant for financial institutions; and the promotion of Bob Markus to financial institutions practice manager.
McCarthy joins the company as a senior solution engineer, bringing more than 20 years of pre-sales and product management experience to Axiom EPM. McCarthy will add depth to Axiom EPM’s pre-sales function and provide expertise to the solution roadmap for profitability and financial consolidations. Prior to joining Axiom EPM, McCarthy served as senior product specialist for Longview Solutions. Additionally, McCarthy previously held positions with SAP/Business Objects, IPS-Sendero (Fiserv) and Summit Bank.
As a senior consultant for financial institutions, Panther will assist with the design, implementation, training and project management of Axiom EPM’s solutions for financial institutions. Panther has more than 20 years of banking experiencing in management reporting and analytics, profitability reporting, planning and incentive compensation. In addition to serving as a software consultant for several years, Panther was previously the vice president and manager of Financial Reporting and Analysis for a $5 billion banking institution.
In his new role of financial institutions practice manager, Markus will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and leadership to customer solution design, and supporting Axiom EPM’s implementations for banks and credit unions to ensure solution effectiveness and client success. Markus has more than 20 years of banking experience, formerly serving in leadership solves at financial institutions ranging in size from $1 billion to more than $100 billion in assets.
