Irvine, CA (PRWEB) July 13, 2013
In an effort to give back to the community and recognize the courage of children throughout the nation who are fighting against debilitating pediatric cancer, Exacta Media and the company’s “Lending a Hand” charity organization, donated toys, activities and time to create JoyJars® at the Jesse Rees Foundation Orange County volunteer center. During her 10-month battle against multiple brain tumors, Jesse Joy Rees felt the burden of her fellow cancer victims and conceived of JoyJars® – jars filled with new toys and activities – with the intent to “spread hope, joy and love” to children fighting life altering disease.
JoyJars® are donated to boys, girls and hospitals across the country, and Exacta’s “Lending a Hand” team joined up with other local volunteers to prepare the uplifting gifts. “We’re inspired by the immense courage and spirit of Jesse Joy Rees and other children who are faced with life changing illness. We were honored to participate and give in any way we could,” said Jackie Post, Exacta Media Partner.
