Infocast’s Safer Consumer Products Summit Debuts in Washington, D.C. this September

As congress works on reforming the 37 year-old Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), states like Maine, Massachusetts, Oregon and Washington are acting to pass Safer Products regulations in the absence of TSCA reform to ensure consumer goods are free of chemicals of concern. California’s Safer Consumer Products Regulations are set to go into effect October 1, 2013 and represents the most far-reaching and stringent reform among the many State level developments.
The Summit will provide the most up-to-date information available on the rapid evolution of consumer safety regulations, including both existing state-level changes and emerging state and Federal initiatives, including TSCA Reform.
