A New Community Initiative for Solar Panels in Idaho is Introduced by Intermountain Wind and Solar
Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) July 16, 2013 -- As one of the premiere solar installers in Utah, IWS has been a longtime provider of alternative energy to both homes and commercial businesses. Their industry expanded across the state, making them a leading provider to a large number of residents with solar power in Salt Lake City. Now they are taking their dedication of renewable resources and educating communities up north. While Utah is their main location, they serve a wide array of surrounding states; including installation of solar panels in Idaho.
Education has always been a main priority of IWS; they frequently give their potential clients background on the benefits of their services. Their Intermountain Community Initiative (ICSI) was recently a big success with the residents and businesses seeking solar power in Salt Lake City. The initiative is a class that informs customers of the benefits of investing in solar power as well as a guideline for bulk pricing and discounts. There was such a large response the first time that IWS is expanding by providing a series of classes through Idaho in the next few months.
With classes beginning on July 17 and going through the middle of August, residents from across the state will have the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the benefits and costs of an alternative energy source. A special bulk pricing date is set in place for August 21, making renewable energy more affordable then ever. Though the company is planning on doing more classes for solar installers in Utah for the fall, they decided to provide some of the same resources for Idaho over the next month.
“The community initiative lets people see the overall benefits of solar panels in Idaho and how they can play a role in reducing power bills,” said Doug Shipley, founder of IWS. “We serve a large portion of the western United States and we want to ensure that they are educated about the services and pricing structures we offer. That is the kind of information these initiatives provide.”
Expanding their clientele to match the geography of their services is sure to help IWS find solid footing as solar installers in Utah and the surrounding states. Already a main supplier of solar power in Salt Lake City, IWS is determined to continue educating individuals on the importance of renewable energy.
