New Starcraft 2 Strategies Available at the Osiris Method Blog
(PRWEB) July 12, 2013 -- Due to recent patch updates, Starcraft 2 has changed significantly. Fortunately, some brand new strategies have been uploaded to The Osiris Method's Starcraft 2 blog. These tactics are designed to take advantage of recent game changes that have had an influence on game balance.
Starcraft 2 players have to constantly keep up with the new strategies that are the result of game balance changes. In order to keep the game fair, the creators of Starcraft 2 are constantly changing the strength of the units. This means that if players are going to stay competitive, then they will have to keep up with these changes and adjust their strategies accordingly.
The blog at The Osiris Method is designed to provide players with brief summaries of the way Starcraft 2 changes over the months. Each time a new strategy or patch comes out, this blog is updated to reflect this change.
An example of this is the recent Starcraft 2 balance patch that reduced the cost of the Banshee's personal cloaking upgrade. This has made it much easier for Terran players to use the Banshee in an early attack known as the Banshee Rush. The reduction in cost makes this build much faster and as a result more effective. Since the build relies on speed, this time reduction significantly improves the build's effectiveness. The Osiris Method blog was just updated to included a build order, strategies, and appropriate counters for this newly buffed build. The full article on the Banshee rush can be found here.
Even if players are not interested in using the Banshee rush build, players should expect that their opponents will be more likely to use this tactic. Therefore, it is now in the best interest of the player to learn how to appropriately counter this strategy. The appropriate counters have been added to The Osiris Method blog as well so players have everything they need in one convenient place.
Another new strategy on The Osiris Method's blog discusses the Protoss forge fast expand build. This is a common strategy for Protoss players to use against Zerg players. However, there are several different ways to execute the strategy. This section provides information on the different variants of this build so Protoss players know all of their options. The full article on the Forge Fast Expand build can be found here.
These are just some of the new strategies recently added to The Osiris Method. Visit the blog at http://www.osirismethod.com/blog/ for more tactics and strategies.
