Communications International Upgrading Trinidad and Tobago Dispatch Operations
Vero Beach, FL (PRWEB) July 17, 2013 -- Communications International "Ci" and FATPOT Technologies (a Ci Company), are working with Harris Corporation to provide new mission critical software systems to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the southernmost island in the Caribbean island country with a population of over 1,300,000.
An extensive two-year competitive process resulted with the government of Trinidad and Tobago selecting Harris Corporation and their subcontractor, Ci/FATPOT, to implement new communications systems. When complete, Trinidad and Tobago will have future-ready, integrated and interoperable voice and data communications systems. Ci/FATPOT’s solution includes integration of 22 Dispatch Positions across two locations, 600+ vehicle Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) system, Computer Aided Dispatch System, 911 system. New dual redundant logging recorders will capture and record all activity across the systems.
When complete, Trinidad and Tobago’s will benefit from reliable and redundant communications with new situational awareness capabilities to track assets and calls to help greatly reduce incident response times throughout the Caribbean nation.
