Bill Jacobs Land Rover Hinsdale Becomes First Auto Dealer to Participate in Hinsdale Merchant’s Annual Sidewalk Sale
Hinsdale, IL (PRWEB) July 16, 2013 -- A beautiful summer weekend led to great attendance for the annual “rain or shine” Hinsdale Merchant Sidewalk Sale held Friday and Saturday July 12 and 13, which ran from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Among more than 50 participating businesses, Bill Jacobs Land Rover Hinsdale was the first auto dealership to ever take part in the event. “We wanted to get involved and show support for the local community, and the unique array of businesses that make downtown Hinsdale such a great location,” said Jeff Kruger, General Manager.
The “open air” sidewalk sale spanned several blocks from the corner of Garfield and Washington Streets, Hinsdale Avenue to First Street, and featured sales up to 70-percent off merchandise from all types of locally owned businesses. Crowds enjoyed all the town had to offer, from bakeries, to spas, to flower shops and fashion boutiques, and a variety of restaurants.
With the involvement of Bill Jacobs Land Rover Hinsdale in this popular summer event, the annual sidewalk sale has opened up the possibility of an even wider community business participation for the future.
