Space Girl Organics Sponsors Sustainable Saturday Event on July 27
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) July 15, 2013 -- Space Girl Organics is honored to announce they will be sponsoring Central Florida's first Sustainable Saturday event on July 27, 2013. The event, hosted by Orlando's only local and organic microbrewery, Orlando Brewing, will take place at the Brewery on 1301 Atlanta Ave, Orlando Florida.
Space Girl Organics will be providing fresh, organic food for event attendees along with Lake Meadow Naturals, LLC. Patrons will receive an organic meal with a donation of $10 or more. All proceeds will directly benefit the Nature Conservancy of Florida. Any donation of $5 or more will entitle event goers to Happy Hour pricing on organic microbrews all night.
Sustainable Saturday will begin at 5 p.m. with food and beverage and the opportunity to connect with representatives from local, environmentally responsible companies, vendors and non-profit organizations. Orlando Brewing will offer a free, informative brewery tour at 6 p.m., teaching patrons about the process of producing organic microbrew.
At 7 p.m. highlighted artists will have an opportunity to speak about their work and from 8–8:30 p.m., non-profit organizations will discuss their missions and new initiatives. The event will be followed by live music from the New Earth Project at 9 p.m. This is a free, family and dog-friendly event. Parking will be available on the east side of Atlanta Avenue.
The 27th will also mark the launch of the Orlando Brewing Taproom as an art venue. The event will highlight local artists with sustainability-themed work.
