Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Test Lab, DNB Engineering, Appoints James Press as Director of EMC
Fullerton, CA (PRWEB) July 16, 2013 -- DNB Engineering Inc., a full service test lab and world leader and recognized expert in electromagnetic compatibility certification testing, announced recently the appointment of James Press as Director of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).
Mr. Press will report directly to DNB Engineering Executive Vice President, Doug Broaddus. He will be involved in all commercial, military and aerospace EMC design and test programs. He will also be responsible for EMC technical issues and development of the DNB family nation-wide.
James Press joins DNB Engineering with more than 30 years of experience in the EMC field. He has built EMC labs from the ground-up, expanded capabilities and facilities and has also acquired facilities. Mr. Press has participated on Committees that have developed EMC Standards such as MIL-STD-461D/E, GR-1089, ANSI T1, DO-160, SAE, and EPRI 102323. Prior to his present position at DNB Engineering, he was EMC Director at National Technical Systems (NTS) and prior to that assignment he was Engineering Services Manager at R&B Enterprises (presently Alion).
Mr. Press holds a BA from Temple University and a MS from Iowa State University both in Physics. He has published over 25 articles for national and international journals and a handbook on EMP test and design. He is a NARTE certified EMC Engineer and is a Senior Member of the IEEE EMC Society.
