Buffalo Bill Center of the West raffles this Buffalo Bill-inspired jacket
Cody, Wyoming (PRWEB) July 16, 2013 -- Leather artist Jan Faulkner of Ramseur, North Carolina, says that what she creates “is meant to be worn, lived in, danced in, and filled with a life”—including her own version of a Buffalo Bill show jacket, one of the raffle prizes at this year’s Buffalo Bill Center of the West Patrons Ball. The extraordinary tan, lambskin woman’s jacket has fringed and embellished pockets, front, and cuffs with long fringe on the sleeves and shoulders.
The late silversmith Roger Miller created the jacket’s sterling silver buffalo buttons. This handcrafted and designed leatherwork is a ladies size medium and valued at $3,000.
Fine leather apparel aficionados and special gift-givers are sure to want tickets on this beautiful lambskin creation. Tickets are $10 each or six for $50, and are available at the Center’s admission desk, in the Museum Store, or online.
The drawing is September 21, 2013, at the Center's annual Patrons Ball, and ticket holders need not be present to win. All proceeds benefit the educational programs of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.
Any applicable taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Void where prohibited by law. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter. Must be collected within 30 days of drawing.
