We are privileged to have our software used by Rohde & Schwarz in their highly sophisticated transmitter system. The use of GL Studio in the THU9 series is just one of the many possibilities our software provides for our customers.

The DiSTI Corporation, a leading developer of highly advanced graphical user interfaces, announces the integration of GL Studio into Rohde & Schwarz’s software tool chain to develop the user interface for the THU9 UHF Transmitter Family for TV series. With GL Studio, Rohde & Schwarz created a user interface that is easy to use, informative, well structured, and flexible.

Rohde & Schwarz utilized GL Studio content to rapidly create the menus for the external touch controlled interfaces of the THU9 series of transmitters. GL Studio was selected by Rohde & Schwarz for its reliable framework to automatically generate Java and OpenGL code, as well as its highly intuitive WYSIWYG editor for creating animated menus with ease. The ability to easily integrate GL Studio with their own software tool chain and build environment, the perfect pairing of support and customization by DiSTI, and the superior performance of the generated Java code allowed Rohde & Schwarz to create a user interface and menu that matched the modern complexity of the THU9 series.

The THU9 UHF high-power transmitter series brings efficiency to terrestrial broadcasting of TV signals. With its innovative transmitter design, the THU9 series provides scalable and flexible system configuration, such as the unique MultiTX configuration, highest power density, a user-friendly operating terminal with graphical user interface, and an optimized total cost of ownership.
