Crushed is a social wine application that makes wine fun and is one of the first social wine apps created that will allow users to know what wines your friends are drinking. The mobile application is set to launch early Fall 2013. Crushed is focused on targeting millennial wine consumers with the mantra that “discovering and exploring the wine world should be fun, easy and social.”
Crushed is backed by private investors and is led by founder and CEO, Carla McKay, an experienced voice in the wine industry. Carla has received a First Level Court of Master Sommelier distinction and is a Certified Wine Professional.

As a wine lover, this app grew out of my own need to make the sharing of wine on social media easier, allow users to track the wines they like and don’t like and explore more information on wines .
