BevMax Exclusive Wine Sponsor at North American Ferrari Challenge in Lime Rock
Stamford, Connecticut (PRWEB) July 16, 2013 -- BevMax, (http://www.bevmax.com) Connecticut’s leading wine and spirits retailer with headquarters in Stamford, announced today their exclusive hospitality tent wine sponsorship for the North American Ferrari Challenge in Lime Rock, happening July 19th and 20th. “Ferrari is one of Italy’s — and the world’s — most iconic brands,” said Michael A. Berkoff, 4th generation president and chief executive officer of family-owned and operated BevMax, Inc. “This sponsorship is a perfect brand alignment for our stores and our Italian wine portfolio, of which we’re very proud.”
For the white wine at Lime Rock, BevMax will pour the Donnachiara Greco di Tufo DOCG (93 points in Decanter Magazine) and for the red, the Renieri Invetro. Donnachiara is one of Campania’s up and coming wine producers consistently scoring 90 points and better in leading wine publications with their line-up of traditional Campania wines including Aglianico, Taurasi, Falanghina and others in addition to the Greco di Tufo. The Renieri Invetro is a blend of 50% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot from vineyards in Montalcino in southern Tuscany. Wine Advocate calls the Invetro (“in glass” in Italian; the closure is actually made of glass) ‘a ridiculously delicious wine for the money.’
