One of USA’s Largest Commercial Banks Chooses Activu’s Video Wall Solution for its Network Operations Center

This large commercial bank provides retail, asset management, corporate, institutional and mortgage banking services to millions of customers, across thousands of retail branches, ATM machines and online and mobile platforms – all interconnected on a massive interstate network backbone.
To monitor its extensive operations, the bank wanted a robust, network-based visualization and collaboration solution that would satisfy its immediate needs and scale to integrate other planned network operation centers (NOCs) across the country. Digital transactions are a bank’s lifeblood and even a small systems outage can cost millions in lost revenue, customer dissatisfaction and potential security compromises. Because it is virtually impossible for network operators to manually monitor millions of information streams, the bank wanted an intelligent visualization solution that could easily be programmed to detect and highlight data anomalies and unusual events and automatically provide alerts on its NOC video wall. In addition, the bank has network operation centers (NOCs) in other parts of the U.S. that it plans to soon integrate with the PA NOC, using Activu, so that all NOCs can view and collaborate over the same visuals and data as on the PA NOC video wall for more efficient collaboration, decision-making and mission-critical response.
Activu’s award-winning, network-based visualization and collaboration solution met all of the commercial bank’s current and future requirements and has now been successfully operational at the PA NOC for several months – based on which, the bank now plans to deploy Activu at several additional NOCs in the near future so that the NOCs can leverage the bank’s common network infrastructure without additional buildout.
