Greenberg Traurig Miami Donates Business Attire To Homeless Residents of Chapman Partnerships Seeking Employment
MIAMI (PRWEB) July 16, 2013 -- The Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig on Friday donated five large boxes overflowing with gently used business suits and other professional attire to residents of Chapman Partnership seeking job opportunities. Chapman Partnership is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping homeless residents become self-sufficient. Greenberg Traurig shareholders Aaron Slavens and Brigid Cech Samole spearheaded the initiative.
Greenberg Traurig worked with Nextgen, a group of Miami young professionals and community ambassadors who support Chapman Partnership, to coordinate a donation drive at the firm throughout the month of June.
“We are extremely grateful for the clothing donations from Greenberg Traurig and its generous support of our mission,” said Grace Ugalde-Wolpert, community outreach manager with Chapman Partnership. “Appropriate business attire gives job seekers more confidence and helps them make a better first impression when they meet with potential employers.”
Added Jaret L. Davis, co-managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office: “As part of Greenberg Traurig’s long-standing commitment to support our community, we appreciate the opportunity to donate professional attire that will help homeless residents get a new start on life.”
