LiveSafe to Discuss Mobile Technology Innovation for Public Safety on Brookings Institution Panel

The discussion will center on the growing importance of mobile technology’s role in crisis situations and natural disasters and how it can be effectively utilized for both prevention and effective post-impact response purposes. Reflecting LiveSafe’s active role as a thought leader in school and public safety issues, Ms. Anderson will participate on a panel of public safety thought leaders, from organizations like the PulsePoint Foundation, American Red Cross, Venable LLP and Sesame Workshop along with the founder of the Center for Technology Innovation as moderator. The panelists will discuss solutions and perspectives on how mobile communications has impacted the field and better enables public safety officials and civilians to address potential hazards.
