Acclaimed Pain Management Doctor Joins Critical Care Assessment as Medical Director to Improve ANS Testing
Dayton, OH (PRWEB) July 17, 2013 -- Dr. Ronald N. Parris, MD, owner of the private practice Parris Pain Center, has joined the health monitoring equipment team at Critical Care Assessment to increase awareness of its Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) testing equipment.
Dr. Parris will develop the extensive research of ANS Testing already procured by Critical Care Assessment and create a national platform for clinicians to learn more about the subject. He will conduct web-based training and public speaking to offer transparency to clinicians about Critical Care Assessment's medical testing equipment. He will also speak about autonomic nervous system in general terms and the connection between stress and ANS.
The Critical Care Assessment team is confident that Dr. Parris will be a valuable asset to their mission of providing clinicians with non-invasive cardiovascular and stress assessment tools. In addition to being the new Medical Director, Dr. Parris also owns a private practice called Parris Pain Center located in the Houston, TX Galleria area. His qualifications for providing pain management services stem from his experience as a certified anesthesiologist and education as a fellowship-trained physician.
Dr. Parris also worked as staff anesthesiologist in the world’s largest medical center located in Houston, TX and served as an assistant professor at the renowned M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. His experience as a medical teacher and private practice owner qualifies him to teach clinicians in private practices about the advantages of the Critical Care Assessment test.
“The Critical Care Assessment test is just good business for both the patient and the practice,” said Dr. Parris. He projects a No Room for Pain attitude and the test is offered to patients at his own practice to help him better manage the issues of pain. The test allows him to measure his patients’ sympathetic and parasympathetic autonomic balance.
After becoming Medical Director in June, Dr. Parris began sharing information to clinicians about how physical and mental stress affects the autonomic nervous system. To help prevent further damage to patients' ANS, he recommends the same stress assessment test he uses in his own practice. He believes early detection of hidden diseases is paramount for decreasing their effect and managing pain.
Dr. Parris is always open to discussing his medical philosophies and interpretations of the medical benefits offered by Critical Care Assessment's stress assessment tool.
