Healthy Hearing Highlights Four Clinics Making Patient Care Priority
(PRWEB) July 17, 2013 -- Healthy Hearing is an informative website providing articles, news pieces, studies and an extensive directory of more than 4,700 independent hearing clinics complete with reviews from real patients.
This past spring, Healthy Hearing introduced hearing center interviews to deliver additional information on local clinicians and hearing healthcare professionals.
The following four centers were recently highlighted on Healthy Hearing. During an interview, these professionals displayed not only knowledge regarding the latest hearing care trends, but went above and beyond to demonstrate the kind of patient care that makes individuals feel like friends and family.
With two locations in New Jersey in Clifton and East Brunswick, Dr. Brady uses his dual certification in speech pathology and audiology to help diagnose and treat individuals with hearing loss and balance issues. "I am certified in speech pathology and audiology so when I see a child or a deaf person I can assess their communication skills, not just their hearing," Dr. Brady said. For the last 30 years, Dr. Brady has worked to provide the community with hearing loss help under his own name, because he stands by the work he does.
Located in Carlisle, Penn., the MidState Ear, Nose & Throat Center is led by Bernadette Braze, board-certified otolaryngologist (ENT) and facial plastic surgeon, and Lynn Fickes, audiologist. Under the leadership of the two women, the staff at Midstate is proud to offer individuals hearing care on a personal level. Fickes believes getting to know her patients not only helps her do her job better, but also enjoys receiving feedback on how the latest hearing technology has impacted someone’s life.
For more than 25 years, South Miami Audiology has been offering the community of South Dade, Florida a warm and welcoming environment to receive hearing care. The office is headed by Cindy Simon and Andrea Pernick, and the duo offers full-service diagnostics, including vestibular and tinnitus testing. "Coming to our office, you are not a number for an individual by name. You are not a 15-minute appointment but you get full care and attention and all results are carefully checked," said Simon. In addition to the patients they see day to day, Pernick and Simon also help musicians, night club workers and motorcycle riders find the proper hearing protection and care necessary for the loud environments they’re submersed in.
Established in 1987, Audiology Associates of North Florida has been serving the greater Tallahassee area with ear, nose and throat assistance for more than 20 years. With more than two decades of experience in the hearing clinic and working with the Deaf community, Lisa Myrick, Au.D. is proud of the service provided by the clinical team of Audiology Associates. Myrick said, "I enjoy working with individuals and their families in finding solutions and answers to those difficult communication problems. I find it challenging and rewarding to help families rediscover the art of communication. Hearing is about more than hearing sounds, it's about hearing grandchildren's whispers and funny stories around the dining room table."
