Amerinet Continues to Gain Industry Momentum with Recent Signing of Confluence Health
St. Louis, Missouri (PRWEB) July 17, 2013 -- Amerinet Inc., a leading national healthcare solutions organization in partnership with Health Resource Services, an Affiliate of Amerinet, announced a new three-year sole source agreement with Confluence Health in Wenatchee, Washington that will allow the organizations to partner on supply chain cost reduction and quality enhancement initiatives, including the Virginia Mason Production System, the leading methodology for Lean innovations in healthcare.

The Confluence Health system is comprised of Central Washington Hospital, Wenatchee Valley Hospital, and Wenatchee Valley Medical Center all in Wenatchee, Washington. Established in 1940, Wenatchee Valley Medical Center is a large rural health care delivery system with a regional focus, with nearly 300 physicians and mid-level practitioners, providing care to area residents through clinics in 10 communities and Wenatchee Valley Hospital, a licensed 20-bed facility which serves medical, surgical and acute rehabilitation patients. Central Washington Hospital is a 190-bed facility, with family physicians, internal medicine and orthopaedic outpatient clinics.
Prior to joining Central Washington to form Confluence, Wenatchee Valley has been an Amerinet member for more than 15 years and has been active in the regional member input councils for laboratory, foodservice, materials and pharmacy. In addition to undertaking supply chain cost reduction projects in these areas, Confluence is currently utilizing The Virginia Mason Institute for process improvement and Lean initiatives.
