Holomic to Release New Version of Handheld Rapid Diagnostic Reader, the HRDR-200, at the AACC 2013
(PRWEB) July 23, 2013 -- The HRDR-200 is a unique, portable, handheld, quantitative reader that provides objective, accurate, and fast results instantly, while allowing users to fully utilize the capabilities of their Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDTs). Weighing less than 8 ounces, the reader is ideal for point-of-care, telemedicine, and public health monitoring.
The HRDR-200 integrated reader system is developed on a Smartphone platform, therefore capturing the features and performance of Smartphones, at prices far lower than less capable readers found elsewhere on the market. RDT vendors can now use a single reader with different versions of software for the lab, for the production line, and for customers, as well as for their entire suite of RDTs irrespective of format. The reader is also developed to interface with LIS, EHR, HIT, and Billing systems, making it ideal for healthcare providers. Smart RDT reader applications implemented through Holomic’s Cloud Information Service can provide geo-mapping and real-time monitoring of patients and populations, as well as inventory management and quality tracking. The HRDR-200 is an excellent tool for clinical trials, and monitoring chemical and biological warfare threats and infectious diseases.
The HRDR-200 is compliant with ISO 9001/ISO 13485 and is registered with the FDA as a Class 1 medical device.
The public is invited to visit Holomic at booth 1411 at the 2013 AACC Annual Meeting in Houston, Texas, July 29- August 1, 2013. Holomic is exhibiting at the booth of its sister company and software development partner SCC Soft Computer.
