John Mayer Tickets: Cheap Concert Tickets Slashes Concert Ticket Prices on John Mayer and Phillip Phillips Tickets for All Upcoming "Born and Raised" Tour Dates
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 17, 2013 -- After three years, John Mayer is back. His “Born and Raised” tour this summer will take him through the United States and Canada, and to South America. The concert tour began on July 6th in Milwaukee, WI at this cities annual Summerfest celebration and it will go on through October 5th at the Los Angeles Hollywood Bowl. In between, he will be criss-crossing the country with shows at Missouri, Ohio, Kansas, Texas, Colorado, Washington, California, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, New Mexico, and Arizona. He will also have a show in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on August 14. He goes to South America for a show in Buenos Aires, Argentina on September 17; and in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on September 21.
Mayer made his official return to performing on stage at Bozeman, Montana for a benefit show for firefighters. He sang "If I Ever Get Around to Living" from his latest album Born and Raised. Along with many others on stage, he also jammed with the Zac Brown Band on their song “Up on Cripple Creek.” He made some stops before the main leg of his concert tour in late April at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheatre and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Fest.
The multi-awarded singer and songwriter was off the concert tour circuit due to throat surgery. He first had surgery on October 2011 to treat the granuloma in his throat. He had another surgery in August 2012. After both surgeries, he had to rest his vocal chords and was not able to sing. However, he played the guitar at several concerts including that of the Rolling Stones in New Jersey in December 2012.
His latest album was supposed to have been released in October 2011. His surgery however derailed the planned release. "Born and Raised" was finally released in May 2012. “Shadow Days," the first single from the album, was released in February 2012. He released the second single, “Queen of California” on August 13, 2012. The album reached the top of the Billboard chart and stayed there for two weeks. It also reached the top spot on album charts in Canada and the United Kingdom. It also got good reviews and placed number 17 on the Rolling Stones list of the top 50 albums of 2012.
