UK POS Searches for the UK’s Finest Independent Window Display
(PRWEB UK) 20 July 2013 -- With summer upon us, one of the UK’s leading point of sale goods providers is on the lookout for the country’s best summer window display.
As part of Independent Retailer Month, Manchester-based UK POS is encouraging retailers to capitalise on the sunshine and send in a snap of their summer display to be in with the chance of winning £250 worth of vouchers.
The competition is open to all independent retailers across the UK and Ireland who think their efforts could capture the attention of the nation.
Debra Jamieson, sales and marketing director at UK POS, said: “Although we work with big name retailers across the country, we also work with a huge number of independent retailers.
“UK POS is an official sponsor of Independent Retailer Month and the Support for Independent Retail campaign and we wanted to reward the independent retailers that go all out with their window displays to drive footfall.
“We pride ourselves on supplying the very best point of sale materials which is why we have chosen to give £250 worth of UK POS products to the winning retailer. We have a range of more than 3,000 products, with four million items in stock, available for next day delivery.”
Independent Retailer Month is a global campaign, encouraging the public to take advantage of local stores, and highlighting the important roll independent retailers play in their communities. They also contribute to the local economy and the retail sector as a whole.
Independent retailers can enter the competition using Twitter by sending the photo directly to the UK POS account (@ukposgroup). Only one entry will be counted per retailer, but multiple photos of the same window display can be sent – the more the merrier. Winners will be selected by Jason Leslie, managing director of UK POS and Debra Jamieson.
UK POS has been manufacturing point of sale products for nearly 25 years and is continually adapting to changing market trends when it comes to working with retailers to market their offers.
