According to the Telegraph on July 17 the water companies Severn Trent, Affinity, South East and Yorkshire have warned their customers to reduce the amount of water they use and use water wisely.

Affinity Water, who supplies water to 3.5 million homes throughout North London and the Home Counties, released a statement informing customers of problems with water pressure due to the increased demand. They added: “Whilst our water resources are fine, we would ask our customers to continue to use water wisely.”
