New Lawsuit Alleges Fatal Granuflo Side Effects: Now, AttorneyOne Can Provide Advice
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 19, 2013 -- AttorneyOne.com, a recognized authority on law, updated the website recently and it is now actively providing expert opinion in view of the recent news on Granuflo Lawsuits.
According to court documents, on July 2, a woman filed a lawsuit individually and on behalf of the estate of her deceased father in New York Eastern District Court (case no. 1:2013cv03723) alleging that her father's use of Granuflo and NaturaLyte led to this death. Granuflo, manufactured by Fresenius Medical Care, is an additive used in kidney dialysis to help patients maintain their bicarbonate levels which neutralize the acid buildup in the bloodstream during dialysis. In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that her father used Granuflo and NaturaLyte during his hemodialysis treatment from end 2011 to mid 2012; he suffered cardiac arrest in February 2012 and in July and he died.
Court data updated on July 10, by the US Judicial Panel on Multi-District Litigation (MDL), indicate that there are 188 actions pending in the Granuflo/Naturalyte MDL (MDL 2428, U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts). All the actions in the MDL involve similar allegations that plaintiffs suffered injury or death caused by the use of GranuFlo and/or NaturaLyte during hemodialysis, which allegedly may cause metabolic alkalosis in patients resulting in low blood pressure, hypokalemia, hypoxemia, hypercapnia, cardiac arrhythmia, or cardiopulmonary arrest.
Taking into consideration the latest developments, AttorneyOne.com updated the website and, now, can actively provide an expert opinion including how to get in contact with legal counsel easily and inexpensively in case of alleged Granuflo severe complications.
