The National Council for Hypnotherapy Responds to Scheme Helping Workers Quit Smoking
(PRWEB UK) 18 July 2013 -- According to the Sunderland Echo, companies in Sunderland have agreed to help workers quit smoking. The mass quit attempt will run in association with a national scheme which asks smokers to try to stop smoking for a month long period. Director of Stoptober Alisa Rutter said:
“Employers can make a massive difference in the health and well-being of staff if they support staff through the process. Quitting together as a group gives people an extra motive to keep going.”
The National Council for Hypnotherapy has responded to the new scheme by highlighting the benefits of using hypnotherapy to quit smoking. The council, which consists of qualified and professional hypnotists, uses hypnotic techniques to improve determination and willpower, as well as changing a patient’s view on smoking. On discovering that businesses have pledged to work together to help smokers quit, a spokesperson from the National Council for Hypnotherapy said:
“Stopping smoking feels more achievable working as a team and receiving support throughout the process. It is also a great time to try new techniques which a smoker may not have used to quit before. Hypnotherapy can work as a new and interesting approach for people that feel they have tried every other way.”
The National Council for Hypnotherapy continues to follow smoking news and highlight how hypnotherapy can help smokers quit for good.
