The SMBLA event, “Social Media for Raising Money & Nonprofits” will take place Tuesday, June 23, 2013 from 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM.

July’s SMLBA will feature guest speaker Shelly Ulaj, CEO and Founder of Women Empowered, a nonprofit formed to connect, educate, support, and inspire women of all ages and backgrounds. She will showcase her expertise on how to build authentic relationships, developing a social media fundraising plan, tips on what to and not to share and which platforms work best for nonprofits and why. This event also encourages networking with marketers, PR pros, entrepreneurs, bloggers, pod casters, online community fanatics, and future SMBLA speakers.
SMBLA also takes place during Los Angeles’ dineLA Restaurant Week, a week dedicated for locals and visitors to experience the barrage of culinary inspirations and exquisite dining on a budget. As a participant, Coupa Café is offering a unique internationally inspired prix fixed menu for $20/per person for lunch, and $35/per person for dinner, an opportunity too good to miss.
