Honey Brook, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) July 19, 2013 -- Michele Scott, owner of Chester County's Best Kept Secrets Tour, is accustomed to promoting local businesses through the shopping event she organizes. From May 27 to July 5, KYW accepted nominations for the Small Business Challenge sponsored by American Executive Centers, Devon Hill BMW and Drexel University Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship. Criteria for nomination included having a post-revenue, up and running business less than two years old, total revenue not exceeding $5 million annually, and 80% of revenue staying within the Delaware Valley.
Profiles of each finalist will air July 22-28. One winner will be awarded a $25,000 ad campaign on KYW NEWSRADIO and CBSPhilly.com along with a 1-year lease of office space from American Executive Centers.
“I'm honored to be a finalist for work I believe in,” said Scott, whose tours have increased revenue for Chester County merchants while entertaining shoppers and giving back to local charities ($2,777 has been donated from ticket sales to date.)
