National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) to Host Premier Mortgage Field Service Industry Conference and Expo
Stow, OH (PRWEB) July 30, 2013 -- The National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) is pleased to be hosting the 25th Anniversary 2013 NAMFS Conference & Expo to be held in Chicago, IL from September 5 through September 7. This three-day event at the Hyatt Regency Chicago will include volunteering, networking and educational sessions tailored to the diverse needs of the mortgage field service industry.
The Conference will open with the Annual Golf Outing being held at Jackson Park Golf course on Thursday morning. This event is a highly-anticipated networking event and is sponsored by Property Maintenance, Inc. Transportation will be provided along with food and beverage, and 18 holes of golf and carts. In addition to the traditional Longest Drive & Closest to Pin awards, this year's event will also have other fun prizes and games for its participants.
NAMFS is pleased to announce we will be partnering with the Franciscan Outreach of Chicago this year for the NAMFS Gives Back event. Franciscan Outreach is one of the oldest and largest providers for men and women who are homeless in the Chicago area. From offering refuge from the streets, to feeding the hungry, to helping individuals build a better life, Franciscan Outreach is a lifeline to thousands in need each year. Volunteers will be helping to clean, paint and do repairs at their facilities on Thursday, September 5. This event is sponsored by Assurant Property Advantage and NY Field Services.
The 2013 Opportunity Expo, sponsored by ASONS and BC Connect, will feature approximately 50 exhibitors for attendees to visit and network with. It will take place over the course of two days, opening the evening of Thursday, September 5, in conjunction with the Welcome Reception, sponsored by CoreLogic and Mortgage Contracting Services. It will close on Friday afternoon prior to the Presidential Reception, sponsored by LPS Field Services and Southeastern Asset Services. New in 2013, the Expo will also include an Internet Lounge for attendees to gather in, sponsored by National Field Representatives and ZVN Properties, Inc.
The Opening Session will highlight the history of NAMFS through the past 25 years along with the Keynote Address by Doug Dvorak, sponsored by Miles Preservation. Breakout sessions for this year's event will be geared towards the Association's commitment to improving the education and training of its members. Sessions will cover topics such as Customer Relationship Management, Creating an Agile Organization, Property Management, Being the CEO of Your Company and REO to Rental. In addition to the breakout sessions, the State of the Industry Address will be presented offering insights into the most recent developments within HUD, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and other industry initiatives that impact the mortgage field service industry, sponsored by Brunswick Companies.
The NAMFS Conference & Expo 2013 is open to members, and subcontractors are also given the opportunity to attend when sponsored by a member. The Association highly recommends sending both employees and subcontractors to this education driven event with the intent of preparing them to become certified to provide field services while gaining a better understanding of the industry.
