New Summer’s End Specials at Chaa Creek
San Ignacio, Belize (PRWEB) July 23, 2013 -- The Lodge at Chaa Creek is continuing their “Summer of Love” specials through to the season’s end with new incentives to enjoy a Belize summertime vacation, according to marketing director Larry Waight.
With new complimentary offerings being added to some of Chaa Creek’s most popular all-inclusive Belize vacation packages, the 2013 summer season may prove to the best and most affordable time to enjoy a summer holiday in Belize and discover why many people choose to head south during the summer months, he said.
“More and more people are starting to discover that, strange as it sounds, going south for the summer is actually a very cool thing to do,” Mr Waight said. “Belize is unique in that, due to our geographical location and other factors, temperatures vary very little all year round. For example, the average temperature for July and August is 82°F (28°C) compared to 75°F (24°C) for December. And for some people coming down from the north, the summer months in Belize actually feel cooler and more refreshing than they do back home,” he added.
Mr Waight pointed to Belize’s vast tracts of rainforest, the Maya Mountains and Caribbean Sea breezes as having a cooling effect on the tiny country’s climate. The low population density, lack of big cities and large infrastructures also keep the country cool in summer months, he said.
“I was recently speaking on the telephone to someone in Toronto, Canada, and they were complaining of the heat and saying it was sweltering up north. I had to laugh as I told them it was actually nice and cool here in the tropics that evening.
“I think that’s one of the reasons why our family packages are so popular during summer months. The same goes with our adventure romance packages, as couples find the pleasant weather is more conducive to a romantic getaway,” he said.
To encourage travel during the summer months, The Lodge at Chaa Creek is offering several new “holiday add-ons” to their all-inclusive Belize vacation packages and rustic-luxe accommodation, such as a complimentary "Creatures of the Night" guided tour of Belize’s nocturnal wildlife added on to the Inland Expedition all-inclusive package and for any stay over three nights long.
“The jungle really comes alive at night, and there’s no better way to beat the heat than taking a guided tour in the refreshing evening to discover a side of nature people seldom see. Our licensed naturalist guides get our guests familiar and comfortable with Belize’s exciting nightlife very quickly, and it’s just a great addition to the already chock-a-block Inland Expedition package,” Mr Waight said.
Mr Waight emphasised that Chaa Creek’s all-inclusive Belize holiday deals include everything from the moment guests arrive at Belize’s International airport until they depart, including all transfers, thatch roof cottage accommodation, meals, activities and the run of Chaa Creek’s 365 acre private rainforest reserve, which includes miles of trails for horseback or mountain bike riding, canoeing, pool, Natural History Centre, Butterfly farm, Hilltop Spa, fine dining restaurant and Jungle Lounge.
“The days are as full or as relaxed as guests wish them to be. And now, with the addition of the “Creatures of the Night” tours, the evenings are wildly civilised as well,” he said.
Mr Waight said other new summer add-ons include a two mile downstream inner tube float from the Belize Botanic Gardens to Chaa Creek with the Belize Family Adventure all-inclusive Belize vacation package, and a guided rainforest horseback ride with picnic now part of the all-inclusive Belize Honeymoon Adventure Package.
The Lodge at Chaa Creek is an award winning eco resort set within a 365 acre private nature reserve in Belize.
