A theatre company is running a series of performances at schools in Swansea to highlight the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning.

According to This is South Wales on July 19, in the article 'Show Performed in Swansea Highlights the Risks Linked to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning' a theatre company is running a series of performances at schools in Swansea to highlight the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning.

The theatre company, Theatr Na Nog, is putting on the show in association with gas suppliers Wales & West Utilities to increase awareness of the gas. Through storytelling and drama, it is hoped that the show, titled A Breath of Fresh Air, will prompt school children to pass on the message of the show to their parents, carers and grandparents to build awareness of carbon monoxide.

Corporate affairs manager for Wales & West Utilities, Jaime Falarczyk, told This is South Wales that:

“We needed to get across a hard-hitting message about the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning, but in an interesting way. Theatr Na Nog has come up with the solution with this series of theatre performances, which are being held in schools across our network.”

We Fix Now are renowned for their plumbers in Camberwell, but they also sort problems with gas and provide Gas Safe Registered engineers. The experts at the company were interested in this recent news and a spokesperson shared their thoughts:

“Gas safety and awareness of the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning is important and so it is welcome news that a series of shows is being put on to teach children and their parents and carers about the risks of carbon monoxide poisoning. Carbon monoxide can leak from faulty gas appliances so it is important to have these regularly serviced by a Gas Safe Registered engineer.”
