The National Council for Hypnotherapy Responds to new Statistics Suggesting a Drop in Smokers in England
(PRWEB UK) 23 July 2013 -- According to an article published in The Guardian, smoking in England is set to drop for the first time in a century. The new figures show that the adult smoking population is predicted to drop to under 20 per cent for the first time in a century. The reasons for a drop in smokers is said to be due to rising tobacco prices, mass media campaigns and services to help people quit readily available.
The National Council for Hypnotherapy has responded to the figure with delight due to the fact that the Council has helped hundreds of thousands of smokers quit. The organisation is made up of qualified and professional hypnotists who can help patients with a range of ailments including losing weight, anxiety, depression and stopping smoking. The complementary therapy works to change the way a person feels towards cigarettes and their habit as a representative from the organisation explained:
“We are delighted to see that the amount of adults smoking in England has dropped as a result of various factors including the services available which some have taken hypnotherapy through. Any way in which our members can help smokers quit and add to a fall in smoking in England is positive.”
The National Council for Hypnotherapy awaits the official release of statistics in the next week.
