The National Council for Hypnotherapy Responds to New Statistics Showing Health of American Youth
(PRWEB UK) 24 July 2013 -- According to an article published on the National Institutes of Health on the 25 June 2013, only about half of American adolescents are physically active five or more days of the week, and less than 1 in 3 eat fruit and vegetables on a daily basis. The survey, which looked at over 10,000 students between 11 and 16 years of age were asked to describe their activity and eating habits as well as emotional health, body image and general satisfaction. The results found that low levels of young adults choose healthy meals and exercised on a regular basis.
In response to this the National Council for Hypnotherapy has taken the decision to highlight the use of hypnotherapy to help control and improve eating habits and as a result manage weight. A spokesperson from the company said:
“Hypnotherapy can help a client regain control over eating habits and in turn help them manage their weight. This can be through hypo-band therapy or more general hypnosis to challenge current eating habits and change the way a client feels towards certain foods. The statistics highlight how many young adults are unhealthy in America which we act upon in the UK before it reaches such high levels.”
The National Council for Hypnotherapy is set to continue highlighting the varying uses of hypnotherapy.
