SNAP Collections, The Community Association Collection Specialists, Hires Richard Duer for Midwest Region
Miami, FL (PRWEB) July 24, 2013 -- Association Financial Services (“AFS”) is pleased to announce its recent hire of Richard Duer as Regional Manager of Business Development. Duer will engage community associations and management companies in the Midwest as AFS rolls out its Simplified Nationwide Association Platform for Collections –SNAP Collections.
Mr. Duer's vast experience and industry contacts will help introduce SNAP Collections as an alternative to “business as usual” that hasn’t worked in the past for communities. "Even during good real estate markets, community associations need proven, cost-effective solutions to their collections problems," said Mr. Duer. "With SNAP Collections, community associations and the management companies that service them will now be able to utilize a 'collections solution' as opposed to needing to rely exclusively on hiring expensive, hourly based attorneys. With the availability of funding features at AFS, you have a collections solution for any association needs."
“Richard's appointment is a natural evolution of our business at a time when we have had outstanding growth and been effective in recovering money for community associations. Collections for community associations is a specialized field and community association boards of directors are realizing that collections is a specialization that may not always be best served by hiring an attorney," said Ken Arnold, CEO. "Richard's depth of experience, knowledge of the industry, innovative approach, and track record of success are exactly what the company needs as it continues to grow in these markets." Duer went on to say “Starting with Colorado and the Midwest, I look forward to bringing the powerful platform of SNAP Collections to even more managers and associations."
Richard Duer brings over thirty (30) years of experience innovating products within the financial services sector. He started his career within the insurance industry where he had introduced many innovative products. At CNA, he led the Lawyers Malpractice Team. At AON, he directed the Self Insurance Program for Governmental Entities. During the mid-2000s, he assisted Fortune 500 Companies in securing alternative financing from the Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility. Most recently, during the last five years, Mr. Duer has been involved in developing new insurance products to protect the assets of community associations and the companies that work with them.
