Hireology and IPAT Announce Webinar on the Role of Personality Assessments in Hiring
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) July 23, 2013 -- Hireology, in conjunction with IPAT, Inc., announced today that it will host a free webinar for hiring managers and HR professionals interested in the role personality assessments play in the hiring process. The webinar, "The Secrets of Using Personality Assessments for Hiring," will be held Thursday, July 25th at 3 p.m. CST and be led by Jamie Young, Training and Consulting Associate at IPAT and Margot Nash, Product Development Director at Hireology.
Young will discuss the benefits of personality testing, how to evaluate and select validated tests and the ways such tests can be used to facilitate hiring decisions. Focusing on the use of personality tests in business, Young and Nash will explain the various ways one's personality shapes their knowledge, skills and experiences.
"Managers don't always take into consideration a candidate's personality when hiring," said Margot Nash, Product Development Director. "Although it's not advised to base a hiring decision solely off the results of a candidate's personality assessment, it can assist in determining how to best manage and work alongside the candidate upon their hiring."
