Superior-PHS Introduces Maxim RX Series Friction Feeders
Plymouth, MN (PRWEB) July 24, 2013 -- Superior-PHS debuted two prototypes in the new Maxim RX Series friction feeder line with price signs prominently placed next to each feeder: brand new friction feeders under $2,000.
The Maxim RX-9s Staging feeder and the Maxim RX-12c Continuous feeder made their first appearance during this year’s tradeshow season as part of the new feeder series designed to “meet consumer’s paper and material handling needs without the large investment of a name brand friction feeder,” states a rep from Superior-PHS.
The Maxim RX Series has a patent pending feeding technology that bypasses traditional friction feeding internal logic. The Maxim RX-9s function is to present a piece of product, and something else, such as an inserter gripper jaw, vacuum cup arm, or nip wheel, must remove it from the feeder. This feeder also doubles as a continuous feeder by adjusting the photo sensor. The Maxim RX-12c runs continuously when turned on by either the on/off switch or start/stop interface cable, with the speed adjusted by a variable speed dial.
The Maxim RX-9s sells for $995 and the Maxim RX-12c for $1,295. These units are available for purchase online at http://www.superior-phs.com or by contacting Superior-PHS directly.
